Gift of Life

Bro. Bino celebrated his 70th year birthday today. I came to greet him. He is the present president of the Parish Pastoral Council of Holy TrinityParish. Along with us in the picture is his parish priest.

A couple who has came for a visit during this vacation, A blessing and thanksgiving. They will be coming back abroad for work, we call them "overseas Filipino workers". The Philippine government cannot find them work here, so they have to leave for work abroad. Instead they are the one nourishing our economy of their dollar remittances.

Internet Connection

For the period of 5 days, started last Monday, I have no connection because my server's connection encountered problems, until this Saturday morning. What irked me is that the customer service has continually giving the same reply all over again, "please check you internet connection from time to time for further information". I do not have a connection nga e.Yes, I know that customer service is a practically a calling center, I could understand that they could not relay information as fast as it could be if the technical personnel are really doing their job properly. It took me 5 days without any information when my connection will be reactivated. I just found it out when I opened my computer as the anti-virus program automatically updates itself. Why they could not give proper advisory of the status of my inquiry. When I asked the customer service, they could only reply that I can report for rebate concerning my internet usage. Maybe, it will take a long time before, we can really compete professionally with other countries because people could not be professional enough to do their job properly.

No Connection

At around 9:30 this morning, I have lost my internet connection. I do not know why. I asked the customer service and they could not tell me the reason why. I am not expecting this because I thought that the service around this area is already good. It seems that we have not yet really learned the importance of customer service to its best. Because of monopoly, some companies of internet providers are boldly enough to be arrogant in dealing with their customers because it is a part of their territory and knowing no other companies could encroached them. Well, it is not the law that protect them to become abusive but the politicians. It is publicly known that in almost majority of the territory of the country, it is monopolized by an individual provider. There are some exemption's, to be fair to all, the exemption applies only to metro areas or cities.

Happy

After Celebrating Mass in Bitin, on the way home, I received a text message from bro. Manny informing me of the meeting with the apostles. This is an informal meeting fo the purpose of knowing them well. I told them to be remain faithful and I am thanking them for accepting this apostolate because the Church need more men to become active in Church activities. Simply because as fathers of the family, they should leadtheir families not only for prosperity but also to God
This is my office and this is happy. I asked happy to come over to help me with the installation of the parish program concerning its proper font.

Summary 03222007

Roger's Birthday

I was been invited by Roger for his birthday, actually, it was not roger who personally invited me, but his father-in-law, Fely Cruz. They are both active in the Church. Along with me in this picture is roger, his wife and only child.

Baccalaureate Mass

After reading the new Encyclical letter "Sacramentum Caritatis" and other related articles, I find it out that the internet is so fast enough to gather information and the people around the world is also so advance that make me wonder that time is too short for things to be done. There are a lot of things need to be accomplished and it will not be to one man and even to a group of men and women, today, we have really to think of a globalized coordination.

Aside from my regular schedule and nuptial mass, I celebrate Mass with one of the private school within my parish. It is not a catholic school but since the majority of the students are catholics, they opted to celebrate their thanksgiving with the Lord by offering a Mass.
