An Invitation to the Feast of Saint Martin de Porres



This is the latest picture released by the Dominican order based in Peru as a reconstruction made from the skull of St. Martin de Porres as reported by the Catholic News Agency. An image the depicts the face construction of the saint. According to scientists, the Broom Saint have two teeth before he died. This image is not far from the portrait found in the convent drawn by an artist not long before the Charity Martin died.


The Feast of Saint Martin is celebrated by the universal Church every 3rd of November but the parish of Saint Martin de Porres in Adelina Subdivision, Brgy. San Antonio, San Pedro City celebrates it every second Sunday of November. This November 8, 2015. 

We are inviting you all to celebrate with us, thanking God for protections and blessings of the Almighty God through the protection of Saint Martin de Porres especially for healing the sick persons and to shield us against all harms of body and spirit.

This year theme in relation with the Year of the Poor is "God loves a Cheerful Giver", as Saint Martin is a cheerful giver until the end.

During the Novena Masses we have invited also the parish priests of the vicariate of the Holy Family in the Diocese of San Pablo as this parish belongs to.
