It is a very important question to asked where can we find now the present site of the biblical city Nineveh. Is it a place that can only be found on the Bible? Where it is today? As I have posted the biblical reference to Jonah and Nineveh at Jonas 3, 1-10, it has come into mind that me reader might also want to know where can we find the present day Nineveh. During our pilgrimage to the Holy Land last year, it is also good to know the places that can be found in the Bible to have a feel of it and to situate on it as we reflect the Word of God. Going back to our topic, the present day Nineveh can be situated, according to scholars,at the outskirt of Mosul of modern day Iraq. Here is the map that might help ys on our visual representation.
