Barrio Masses
One of regular schedule is barangay masses during Saturday afternoon as an anticipated mass. I have 17 more upland villages. At least, I am trying to attend to them once a month. Today’s schedule is Calangay, Tungkod and Cambuja. I asked Fr. Frederick of the Servants of the Poor to attend the Mass in tungkod. Cambuja and Calangay are both thirty minutes from poblacion. Extraordinary ministers of the Holy Communion attend the Bible service with communion in Calangay in other weeks.
Though they are 30 minutes away from the poblacion, the problem lies on transportation and road. There are unpaved roads in between those areas and the fare is beyond the means of some faithful.
