Somebody is asking to add description to this event, this event was posted in my account in Facebook. I could not tract the one asking it, just flash in my screen as a part of the notification. I though before that there is no need to do so because it is already a part of the Lenten preparation. However, we should also go to the basic reminding ourselves that there are those who are not well verse to our natural flow of Christian devotion during the 40 days of preparation for the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Chris . Kumpisalang Bayan is what we commonly named the event where Confession is held in the parish through the help of the neighboring priests of the nearby parishes of religious institutions. this is to help the parish cope with the massive attendance of those who would like to receive the sacrament of reconciliation that we usually announced during the Lenten and Advent liturgical time.. This is not to substitute the regular time for parish confession schedules.
We are expecting the Following priests to assist us in our Confessions this coming March 28, Rev. Fr. Jimmy Niego, Rev. Fr. Ric Pajutan, Rev. Msgr. Rey Agramon, Rev. Fr. Roland Indicio,OSJ, Rev. Fr.Reginald Mamaril, Rev. Fr. David Reyes, Rev. Fr. Danilo Carido OSA, Rev. Fr. Philip Gagatiga, OSJ, Rev, Fr. Ronuko Alconga, OSJ, Richard,OSA, Pido, Aymark Asor,OSA,. Of course I will be here. I will say mass at 7:00 Pm but it will also be at time to start the confession. My parish, St. Martin de Porres, regular schedule of mass everyday is 7 in the evening as they are still in the work place at five in the afternoon and will still commute from their workplace which is usually located within Metro Manila Area. It will take time for them to reach home and be able to attend the Mass. Since the time schedule for the Kumpisalang Bayan within the vicatiate is seven in the evening, it will also start in my parish at seven o'clock while I am presiding the Holy Eucharist.
The Kumpisalang Bayan Schedule for the Vicariate parishes is: March 21,St. Joseph the Worker; March 22; Sto. Rosario; March 2.3, Most Holy name; March 24, Christ the King; March 28. San Martin de Porres; March 29, Mother of Good Council; March 30, St. Joseph the Patriarch, March 31, Holy Family. Let us be reconciled with our God. Let us confess our sins and be forgiven.
