As part of the celebration of the 20th year foundation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), the provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) invited me to celebrate the Holy Eucharist in their office here in Bay, Laguna
At 10:00 this morning I celebrate with them in thanksgiving to the Almighty God for the blessing and guidance that the Lord has bestowed on this government agency. This is the time also to pray for the strengthening of the faith of its workforce as it also marks the termination for the work of the agrarian reform law. The agency ask for the extension of the said program in congress and still under review by the lawmakers.
The Church has long been the forerunner of the agrarian reform and still commits itself for the continuation of its work. However, it should be noted that more changes has to be made.
