Radio Veritas was the lone voice that kept the nation and the whole world informed of the happenings of the famous EDSA People Power I, after Cardinal Sin made an appeal to the Filipino faihtful to support Defense Minister Juan Ponce Enrile and PC Chief Lt. General Fidel Ramos. This historical event brought Mrs. Corazon Cojuangco Aquino to the Presidency.

DZRV-Radyo Veritas was once again in the forefront of contemporary Philippine History when His Eminence Jaime Cardinal Sin called on the Filipino faithful to gather at the EDSA Shrine for EDSA People Power II. Millions gathered and called on President Joseph Estrada to leave MalacaƱang and hand-over the leadership to Vice President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
2005 - 2010
Fast-forward to the new millennium, the Philippine broadcast scene continues to be more vigorous than ever, with stiff competition by the day fuelled by converging technologies within the reach of one’s own cell phone, laptop, PDA and i-pod. And Radio Veritas, renamed Veritas 846, Radyo Totoo is here to stay, with the vision of being ‘A Faith-centered Catholic radio industry leader committed to evangelization’

In accord to the teaching of the Second Vatican Council to utilize all the resources of radio and television to enrich people’s religious life and create new bonds between the faithful and help in religious education (Communio el Progresso #150), the Radio Veritas Global Broadcasting System, Inc., created the Veritas846Kapanalig, A listening, learning and loving radio community.

After 42 years of operation in Bo. Dakila, Malolos, Bulacan, Veritas 846 transmitter site transferred to its new home in Taliptip, Bulacan, Bulacan.
The Online Radio of the CBCP is a "project of the Media Office of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. This is one of the latest additions in the roster of online initiatives of the Office. Its primary objective is to promote the functions of the CBCP Media as provided by the Statutes of the Episcopal Conference." The author presumed that this new addition started this year.
