Robertson Poblete who called himself Berto for short. Born as Catholic  Christians but when he was young his family became born again Christians. Now, he comes back to the Catholic faith and would like to explain the faith for those who questioned the Catholic faith in the perspective also of those who have left the Church and comes back to the fold. The blog is written in English and Tagalog. Filed under Filipino Lay Catholic Blogger. The blog can be found in Filipinong Katoliko, Hiyas ng Minanang Pananampalataya. I personally like to see writings on the perspectives of those who left the Church and comes back.

Pinoyblogosphere dot com

Image
As I cleaning up my blog of some links that are no longer active as this moment, noticed that pinoyblogosphere is one of them. The last Facebook entry is 2009. It was created November 2004, the last update of the domain name was last 2013 that has expired last year. So the domain name is free for grab, I believe. It is one of the pioneering work to establish link within the Filipino Community. I hope there are others who replace it or at least substituted it in the blogosphere.

Push it Everyday

Image
Browsing the Internet looking for Catholic Lay Bloggers, I cannot but recognized the need to maintain one's blog especially those manage by men. Women are more updated in their blog posts. Yes, I can relate on this because history will tell that it was also my experience for a long time and it still coming back. Though, I am keep telling to myself to write my thoughts how short it may. There are times that we cannot put our thought into words but experience tell us also that if we are tune to it it will become as easy as it gets. There is a need to push it everyday. like a prayer that must be done regularly and it will be a part of your normal existence.

Joe Catholic

"Show up late if you have to and leave early if they need." A very different approached for those who meet twice a month for the maintenance of the blog site Joe catholic dot org. It is to help Catholics and non Catholics to answer God's call to holiness. It started on the Spring of 2009. The site explains that they have  settled on a three prong format: Catholic Toolbox, Saint Talk and FAQ of Faith. Each session lasts about 15-20 minutes and they are non-sequential by design. The Catholic Toolbox is normally a Catechetical talk, focusing on primary teachings of the Church. Saint Talk covers the life of a saint whose feast we will celebrate during the month we are meeting. We focus on the lessons we can learn from their lives, both before and after their encounters with Christ. FAQ of Faith takes an apologetic approach to questions Catholics are often asked by their non-Catholic friends and family. Filed again on Non Filipino Lay Catholic blogger .

Ontoplist not on Top

Image
Ontoplist.com has no rank according to Alexa. However, my blog was listed there since 2009 and yet they are still alive even if there is no rank. Usually those in business have short lifetime than those who do for fun or for charity. On this note, I will not remove my badge of this application even though I has not even garnered even one traffic for the period of six years. Some application have not survived that long. It has a colorful banner, an addition feature of the blog.

Catholic Dads

Image
First time to encounter Catholic Dads in the Internet. It is  a site to help build community among Catholic Dads. Catholic Moms seems too natural for them to blog even for Filipinos. There are few catholic Filipino lay bloggers and it seems that there are more women than Filipino men. It was initiated by Rob Kaiser in 2007 and been since rolling until now. A Catholic Mom climbing the Pillars

Image
Ebeth is the Author of the A Catholic Mom climbing the Pillars , Like any other bloggers no surnames, there are some bloggers who have surnames but there are numbers of them who prefer not to put them on. She is also one of the authors of Catholic Bloggers Network and   A Cook on the Fly.   As the title suggests that it is the struggle of a catholic mum or mother in this world following the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is under the category of Non Filipino Lay Catholic Bloggers .
