E veryday there is a new discovery. looking for some program in putting my slides aside from what I already know. I find this splashcast. Uploading photos here requires a lot of time than using filmloop . However, I encountered problem with filmloop when I reformat my computer when it bog down last week. I could no longer acces my filmloop slides besides by having it linked to my sites. Present links will not be affected but, it will no longer serviceable to future usages beyond a linked slideshow. lookin to find out if I could still use the old slides, this is what I found mixercast . I will speak abot it later on. O oooo o o ps ..... there are some glitches on this slide. I will post it later. After the Mass, I was invited for breakfast by one of my parishioners in Sto. Domiggo, Bay, Laguna. I obliged and I found out this beautiful haven. If there is nothng to do, I would like to stay for further reflection. It seems that here time doesn't passes by. Unclogging

T oo much gadgets and graphics make this site slower especially for the dial-up readers. most of the Filipino people except for those who are always in internet cafe or shops and the financially abled could hardly use broadband and high speed connection. I am staring to limit my post and the graphics. So I make another site for the activities of the parish. Mainly for the activities of the parish. It is also my activity as the parish priest but I could make a link here directing to the site and vice versa. Seeing other bloggers who are rich not only in content but also in form have somewhat make me jealous. Only if I have a lot of time to develop everything for a short period of time. It reminds me that I am human bounded by the rules of this world. I remember one of my friend a priest within the vicariate commented "Can yu still find time spending in the front of the computer?" Well, I have answered that we spent our free time on different interest. it is here I spent my fre...

Resettlement!

Image
D uring our vicarial meeting last wednesday, Father noel Conopio, the Apostolic Vicar of the second district have brought out the issue and problem of the resettlement in his area. Calauan was been a place for resettlement for about 250 families from different parts of Metro Manila and neighboring provinces and towns. Now, Malacanang is bringging another 36 families with an assurance of several batches that will be coming from the places affected by the operation of the Metro Manila Development Authority. We all agree that this is the work of the National and Local Government but people are coming up asking for help. And the Church is encountering problems concerning these matter withstanding that almost thousand families were relocated in Cabuyao, Laguna recently. Fr. Noel speaks about the present situation and the immediate need of the said resettled families. Eve of World Communication Day

Image
On the eve of the feast of ascension, i have made a realization that there are things that the faith has to be proclaimed as the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ have clearly stated that it must be proclaim in all Nations. It is also in cognizance with the celebration of the Catholic Church celebration of the 40th WORLD Communication Day. For the advance of years, communication technology have also been modernized to a considerable extent of which a lot of people now have taken for granted. I remember fifteen years ago that the common form of communication is through the use of snail mail. Before, it was called air mail. Due to the advent of powerful communication tools, it has become the snail one. The advent of new communication tools has reached us before but its affordability today have greatly affected us, it has been the tool for the majority not only for the elite. Before a cellphone that looks like a "refrigerator" costs more than 20 thousand pesos. Now, a cellphone wi...

Election Aftermath

Image
Several days after the philippine midterm election several people from one of the Philippine political parties contacted me through Fr. Ted Real concerning the outcome of the election in this municipality, Bay, laguna. First thing that comes to my mind is why contact me after several days of the election. We are batlling against all odds then to ensure that the provisition of the rule and code of election process is put on its proper place. We are doing our job at to the extent that we are more aware and following the rules and conduct of election process than the comelec chairman of this municipality. Three days prior to the election, the comelec cha was replaced by the national. The political group are asking for confirmation of the alleged irregularities in the conduct of election. Yes, there are irrigularities,(Hello! Where did you came from?) but to pinpoint who are the group behind the irrigularities is another matter. There are iirigularities but it does not presupposed that the...

Today we honor our mothers as we celebrate the Mother's Day, Since the youth were too busy in their work as facilitators of Children's Summer Camp, they were not been able to prepare much for the said occasion. hey have just prepared yesterday by practicing the Song and they have done a little choreography (It is not in the video.) I would to thank all the mothers especially for my mother for the servive and love they have bestowed on us. Feed Aggregator

Image
P laying around with one of the features of blog - aggregator, it has made me to redesign the webpage by creating a page dedicated for news, Philippine news. Though, everyday, I am subscribe to one of the daily Philippine news broadsheets and reading it every morning, I also read other news on the internet. Not all newspaper contains the same news although there are similarities among them. Sometimes, different news agencies deliver the news differently. Part of human element. I have made a page primarily for Philippine news, since I ussually read the news on the internet as part of the feature I put in one of my sites which deals on the Philippine Election 2007. Not all Philippine news company are offering feeds. It is to be noted that the big news provider like GMANews.tv , Inquire r and ABS-CBN are offering it. There are also regional news agencies who are using the blog systems in their web pages. It is also a tools for others who are surfing this blog to access the news in the...

Bloggers Code of Ethics

Image
H ere is the Bloggers' Code of Ethics I have found in PCIJ.org. Though most of us are aware of the rules and conduct since we have studied and most of us are Christians, it is helpful also to be reminded by the rules and conduct of this world wide web specifically on blogging. These are highly worded statements which should be the guide of all bloggers. Hoping that I will be reminded constantly on this matter I am reposting the said code of ethics. Posted by: Alecks P. Pabico on 2 April 2005 at 7:43 am CyberJournalist.net has created a model Bloggers’ Code of Ethics, by modifying the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics for the Weblog world. These are just guidelines — in the end it is up to individual bloggers to choose their own best practices. CyberJournalist.net follows this code and urges other Weblogs to adopt this one or similar practices: Be Honest and Fair Bloggers should be honest and fair in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. Mass Media

Image
A s this blog grows, it is important to acknowledge that as I search and use the Internet there is avast knowledge that can be attain and much resources to be used. However too loose. To much independent and has lost the significance of the interconnection. It is still up to the individual to connect all the loose end.I am trying now to connect some. Well, this is quite tedious but I could not simply rely on the automation of which it is built. Understandably that search engines have use the idea of volunteerism on such a way to built an array of communication. However, there are some dangers of watering down the quality of work. Unless they are hired. I am starting to interconnect, aside from my other works on the level of religious sites all the Media resources that can be found in the Internet on the local level i., Philippine Settings. Sometimes we are drown by big companies that has been the land mark of the society but let us not forget that there are other contributors on the ...

Pangmasang Pagamutan ng Laguna

Image
I was been infuriated early this morning when I received the water bill, The bill states an amount beyond my capacity and understanding . I immediately asked my companions to check all the valves and faucets. Since I have arrived here, I have been trying hard to be frugal in the use of electricity and water to conserve enough for some repairs. And after being careful on using unnecessary energy consuming gadgets like aircon, I was devastated with this news. It has weakened my spirit. I just asked the Lord for more patience. Some of my boys here are not not taking care of water faucet properly. Even if they are not the one who caused it because some parishioners do not know how to close what they have opened. I instructed them to check all valves every day and night. T he Pangmasang Pagamutan ng Laguna situated in Maitim, Bay, Laguna invited me to celebrate Mass today on the occasion of their eighteen (18) years of existence. The hospital is the fourth largest of the eight hospi...
