It is a very important question to asked where can we find now the present site of the biblical city Nineveh. Is it a place that can only be found on the Bible? Where it is today? As I have posted the biblical reference to Jonah and Nineveh at  Jonas 3, 1-10 , it has come into mind that me reader might also want to know where can we find the present day Nineveh. During our pilgrimage to the Holy Land last year, it is also good to know the places that can be found in the Bible to have a feel of it and to situate on it as we reflect the Word of God. Going back to our topic, the present day Nineveh can be situated, according to scholars,at the outskirt of Mosul of modern day Iraq. Here is the map that might help ys on our visual representation.

Yesterday afternoon, the mother of Rev. Fr. Deng Marfori, Lourdes Masanga Marfori has returned to our Creator at the age of 90. Her remains can be viewed and be visited at stae in the mortuary of Nuestra Señora delos Remedios Parish, Del Remedio, San Pablo City. Funeral mass will be on March 8, Wednesday, 8 am, In San Isidro Parish Church, Calauan, Laguna. Please remember her in your prayers and masses. ri

Since yesterday night, I have found difficulty in connecting with my Facebook account. I thought it was just my Internet connection.Internet connection is one of the   perennial problem here. Last night, I have suspected that there is something wrong with my connection with FB but cannot confirm it. I have internet connection, I can browse other sites except FB. A few moment before I check my internet connection and it is working well. Searching for answers in the internet, here is one of what I have found. Maybe Facebook is working on the are where my Facebook account maybe stored that make it unavailable. It may not be true for others but it might be true only to me of which account and maybe other accounts are involve. I also found a site which reported down sites in the internet. It is nicfe to see that I am not alone experiencing the problem.

inquirer Yesterday, a boat named M/V Kim Nirvana capsizes as it leaves Ormoc city towards Camote Islands. It is believed that more than 35 persons were dead. Let us include them in our prayers. God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust. Lord, those who die still live in Your presence, their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for my family, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone. In company with Christ, Who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever. Diocesan Catechetical Day is a yearly celebration in fostering and strengthening of the evangelical ministry of proclaiming the Good News of man's salvation.
