Nuts and Seniors

Please exercise due diligence and consult your physician.  Why nuts matter more, not less, as people age Aging brings a specific cluster of risks — muscle loss (sarcopenia), cognitive decline, heart disease, bone thinning, and frailty — and nuts happen to touch nearly all of them at once, which is why they show up so consistently in aging research. Brain health. A large cross-sectional study of adults 50+ found higher nut consumption linked to a 68% lower prevalence of cognitive impairment.
