CFC Global Congress

Image
For the first time the Couples For Christ have included CFC Clergy Congress in their celebration of 27th year of foundation. I was been invited for the said gathering. I was been fetch in Bay, Laguna at 6 o'clock in the morning. I arranged that Fr. Alek will preside over the celebration of the Holy Eucharist that morning, but since Cyrus was also around Fr. Alek gave the slot to Fr. Cyrus. After I was fetch here, I was been transfered to Sta. Rosa. A member of the Couples bring me to the said congress before 8 o'clock in the morning which is the supposed time to start the said event, however it was past ten when everything keep on rolling. Most of the talks were centered on the cooperation between the clergy and the laity and in particular with the lay organization, Couples for Christ. This problem was long been present but it has blown out especially when the CFC Global was threathened with the slintered group CFC FLL Blogs commenting Fr. Jessie's post

Canonical Interview

It is a part of their marriage preparation to see to it that there are no impediments ever for their marriage as stated by the canon law. It is a precaution not only for the church but especially for the married-to-be couples. They have to brace themselves of the responsibility of the married life. It has its responsibilities and blessings.

Canonical Interview

Canonical Interview Canonical interview for couple who wishes to be married is part of my second and fourth Sunday of the month schedule. Though Sunday is a hectic day for a priest it is also the reasonable day for couples who are free on Sundays and working during weekdays. There are five couples scheduled today. Some of them are already living together as husbands and wives. When asked why they preferred to live together before the ceremony of marriage. They responded that they were not prepared then financially. It is a matter of fact that financial reason is part and partial of marriage preparation. However the psychological, spiritual and moral aspects should not be overshadowed on the process. This is just one of the indications that the church specifically the parish should keep an eye on and offer remedies. One of my fellow parish priest once commented on the issue that his experience is worse than mine. Simply, because, though on my experience, marriage is quite late as expect...

Prayer for the Faithful of the Sta. Maria For more than three (3) years, the congregation used during the post-communion prayer the Prayer for Priest except for some interruption for special occasion such as the preparation and celebration of the International Eucharistic Year and National Marian Year as well as of the prayer during the "Misa de Gallo". It is time also to attune the prayers for the special need of the parish. Yesterday, we start praying this prayer. This prayer has the following intentions: 1. To stop the culture of violence and death 2. For faithfulness of married couples and families 3.Invironment 4. Church Leaders 5.
