“Jack of All Trade, Master of None” Bro. Anthony Apostol My first quarter (July to September) assignment at Pila was not only a stay like any other but also an opportunity to meet others. And lo and behold, I met a Pileno priest with a name “Cornelio” - but already in a casket laid in state at the Shrine of San Antonio in mid-August after having succumbed to Cardiac Arrest on August 13. Last February 23 of this year, the San Pablo theological formation house held its alumni. Usually, the alumni was being held at the nearest date, nearest Monday, to the feast of St. Paul, however due to conflicts with the schedule of seminarians studying in the Divine Word Seminary in Tagaytay city of which we have no hold on, the rector decided to postponed the regular schedule and held it on February 23 after the alumni celebration of St. Peter's College in San Pablo city. Our guest speaker was Bishop Tagle of the diocese of Imus. The Bishop of the diocese who is schedule to celebrate the Mass was too sick to attend for the celebration of the Mass, so it was also Bishop Tagle who became our main celebrant and homilist for the said occasion. Since we are still on the celebration of the jubilee year of St. Paul, the topic centered on him. Three aspect of St. Paul's life was discussed.1. His conversion/calling, 2. His ministry, and 3. his community, the Church. Blogs commenti...
