I voluntered to be a part of the web team of the YouCat development team for its website and mobile application. I have some preliminary talks with the one in charge of the project, Philippe Toda as one of the volumters in-charge with the YouCat.  Youcat is the combination of the words Youth and Catholic and Catechism. Youcat is the official Website of the Youcat Philippine Foundation.  Their site speaks of the a s "the abbreviation of YOUTH and CATECHISM.  As a book, it is a manual of faith that speaks the language of the youth.  However, YOUCAT is not just a book... We are a community!  The YOUCAT will be our tool to enlighten the young in the beauty of our faith and the truth of the gospel.  Using this tool, we shall go to them and together with them we shall make YOUCAT  more than just a book but rather a way of life." I will be glad to help, fundamentally, From the first glance these are my observations about the site. Positi...

It was not much a long time since I have stopped blogging and using the platform and yet much has changed in the internet. I have missed the opportunity which google docs offered, Or it is only now that the capabilities of google docs is being enhanced. Well, I am not certain to answer this question however it should be of great help not only for me but as well as to the rest of the blogger community to make use of this free service, It is also being used by many web and blog hosts as well as platforms because it can easily be integrated,. As an example from the above is a slide posted by catholic fortress in Facebook. Since facebook does not support a slideshow except when it is embedded or be shown to its link. here is the slideshow on fasting and abstinence.

I have just learn from my neighbor that you can make your TV a Smart TV. A Smart TV is far more expensive than a non Smart TV but there are ways that can de done without dousing out extra money or do not have the resources for the moment. There are some application that I am still trying out to make use of this new technology. However, the basic requirement is that you have a non Smert TV that has HDMI port. You can find the port at the back of your TV. According the Wikipedia HDMI or the High Definition Multimedia Interface port first came out thirteen years ago on the late 2003. So if your TV was manufactured not necessarily bought on the late 2003 it might have a HDMI port. Why HDMI port because it is where an another device need to be connected. Any casting device can do. There are many casting device in the market today but I am using the Chromecast 2 device. You just have to plug it on and install the application through your mobile phone or tablet using the internet con...

Since yesterday night, I have found difficulty in connecting with my Facebook account. I thought it was just my Internet connection.Internet connection is one of the   perennial problem here. Last night, I have suspected that there is something wrong with my connection with FB but cannot confirm it. I have internet connection, I can browse other sites except FB. A few moment before I check my internet connection and it is working well. Searching for answers in the internet, here is one of what I have found. Maybe Facebook is working on the are where my Facebook account maybe stored that make it unavailable. It may not be true for others but it might be true only to me of which account and maybe other accounts are involve. I also found a site which reported down sites in the internet. It is nicfe to see that I am not alone experiencing the problem.

I am tired of people saying that the Internet is trash. I usually respond with the note "well you are not putting anything good at it". We know that the Internet is of a great potential for Evangelization. The Catholic Church is aware of this already but we have to encourage other to share their knowledge through the Internet. Individual catholic relies on the institutional Church to lead on this endeavor, well we are not lag behind on this issue as the Church through the efforts of some dioceses, religious congregations, parishes and catholic bishop conferences of different nations as well as some Enterprises which carries catholic brand. However, this is not enough, individual must also share the faith received through the use of internet of which today is easily available though the internet providers are sometimes are too slow. I am still encouraging my fellow clergyman to share their homily, reflection or any thoughts concerning the faith. I am still offeri...

It was been a long and series of complains that I presented to internet providers not included that we are the slowest internet speed in the whole world. As a part of costumer rights, I formerly report every time there is an internet interruption but since the incapacities of the call center agents to solve the matters and simply keeping a log of complain in the computer or of their databases, and tired of hearing of sending technicians to solve the matter knowing that it is not the physical connection that should be addressed after all. Aside from praying and taking the pill of patience, every time that I will encounter the loss of connection, I will post and stack the screenshots wherein it is also detailed there the date and time and an icon referring if there is a connection or not. For the record, let it be known again that my internet provider is PLDT dsl. i just hope that my space for pictures here at blogger.com will not run out. I will also be posting in my Facebook ...
