M/V Kim Nirvana

Image
inquirer Yesterday, a boat named M/V Kim Nirvana capsizes as it leaves Ormoc city towards Camote Islands. It is believed that more than 35 persons were dead. Let us include them in our prayers. God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust. Lord, those who die still live in Your presence, their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for my family, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone. In company with Christ, Who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen. As an update, today July 4, 2015, 8:57 Am, 52 were confirmed dead, Let us pray for the repose of their souls.

Prayer Request

Image
It was been sometime when somebody approach me to pray for their loved ones. Sometimes, I cannot remember anymore their names except for those whom I personally met. One time, some one approach me for the second time and give me a piece of paper wherein the intention was written - For fast recovery of Sofronia T. Atienza, it says. Frankly speaking, I am poor in memorizing names, and I am taking account of it by taking notes especially for those who are asking prayers. Blogs commenting Fr. Jessie's post
