After the meeting and taking Lunch at Bel Air, Cabuyao , Laguna , I immediately hurried back to the parish to prepare myself for the teacher's recollection of the Liceo De Bay. My Laptop is having some problem in loading immediately. Maybe because of too many programs installed therein or maybe because it is already outdated. It was been more than four years since them I bought it . However, I tried to make use of it for the said recollection. I have decided to give them the summary of the Sacramentum Caritatis , since it is their care that the students could be properly instructed on the importance of the sacraments. The Liceo de Bay, hold Mass in honor of the Sacred heart of Jesus as part of the First Friday Devotion. It is one of the activities of which a catholic school is monthly tuned to. As part of the Catholic Education program to let them aware of the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ to them and to the rest of the world. This Mass though specially been schedule to them is open to public but because of their numbers that runs to about 900 students. There is no more place for others to attend to comfortabley. Some were not been able to attend the regular mass at 6:00 attends this 8:00 mass. In another Barrio, Masaya, the High school department of the public school invited me also to celebrate the eucharist there. Though the catholic school have been atuned to this for a long time, the public school is now picking up on the need for religious experience to implore our God to guide them. A street mass in daang bakal, maitim, bay, laguna was celebrated. they fetched me 25 minutes late. If only I am familiar with the place, I will go there alone. Afterwards, I proceeded to San Antonio parish in San Antonio, Los Banos, Laguna, many parishioners hear their confession. It was past 10:00 oclock when I left without taking anyting to eat because I have a scheduled funeral mass in one of my barrangay. Well, it is the oly time , I am available and there is no priest I could find to say the Mass tomorrow. After the Mass and Confirmation a merienda was served in the Liceo de Bay principal's office. A small conversation exchange between the bishop and the Liceo staff and me. One of the prolem that liceo is encountering today is the number of students because of economic situation of the country, and it seems the government is not helping out.

Liceo Los Banos have asked the bishop to hold a special confirmation for the Liceo de Bay for this year aside from the scheduled confirmation every year before the town fiesta. I have to hear their confession to prrepare them for the holy and meaningful reception of the said sacrament. There are 127 students in line for the said sacrament.

SUMMARY Part of the program of Liceo De Bay is to celebrate Mass on the first Friday (aside from Sunday obligation). The Gospel speaks of following the law of God beyond the way pharisees and Scribes do. Following God beyond the precept of the letter of the law. It should be the spirit of the Law. Do not kill. That's the law, but the Lord Jesus Christ is asking us to forgive those trespassed us. Do not hurt them. Do not say something against them. Do not belittle them. I challenge the students for two things: 1. Be initiative. It is not enough to do things right because somebody is telling us. Do not be like robots. We have to take initiatives for certain and small things that if becomes a part of our daily life becomes automatic and easy to undertake. 2. Be innovators. There are things people would like to give solutions to a certain problems but has no idea of what is to be done because they are afraid to passed beyond the threshold that ordinary people take. Today as we celebrate the starting day of the lenten season, God is reminding us of one of the gifts that He has given to Man - self control. Fasting and abstinence are tools to amplify that gift. VBirtue does not come instantly, it is being practice. The more it is practice, it is the more easierfor us to fulfill. Abstinence and fasting are some of the spiritual excersises that we could master. The social dimension of the practiocvce of fasting and abstinence will spring by if charity follows. Tomorrow, the third year and the fourth year students of Liceo will have a Junior-Senior prom, in preparation for that they decided to hold mass in preparation for the said event. In the afternoon of the Ash wednesday, Icelebrate mass with them for the said intention.
