This month's intention of the Holy Father which is printed in every ORDO and to the pamphlet of every member of the Apostleship of Prayer is for the Persecuted Christians everywhere in the world. Although, here in the Philippines we are slightly being intimidated because of our belief in some political issues, it has nothing in comparison with our  neighboring brethren who suffered much because of their faith in our God and in Jesus Christ, our Lord with the Holy Spirit. Though, formally no country or group of people who will announce that part of their program is the eradication of whom they believe as non believer because it is different from their belief system. Is it also maybe because of our belief of non-violence that we are susceptible for abuse and violent act. Not, it is not our belief that make us a prey for others but because they believe otherwise and this belief runs in blatant opposite of us of non violence. So it is not only on the issue of different b...

One of Manila Bulletin front page flashes "Vatican embraces iTunes prayer book for priest". Father Paolo Padrini, an italian priest developed an iPhone and iPod prayer application his idea of praying in this modern times. It is available in Spanish, French, English, Latin and Italian language. Breviary is what we call the Christian Liturgical Prayer of the Church. It is the official prayer of the faithful, priests, religious and lay. Personally I have not seen it because I do not have an iPhone or iPod. One priest have reported earlier before the coming of english application that it is a good as the book itself. Maybe , it is time for me to buy an iPod so that i could pray the liturgical Christian prayer without ceasing. Present version available is ver.1.2.1. Apostolado ng Panalangin or Apostleship of Prayer invited me in their meeting for any question they might want to ask concerning their apostolate as well as the activities of the Parish. I told them that prayer is the power house of any individual or group in any activities they will undertake. If they are really in communion with the Lord, Our Lord Jesus Christ will surely guide them in their decision making and as well as in the execution of their work. Because God surely wants us to succeed as part of his salvific plan to mankind.
