Last Wednesday, August 12, 2015, The Department of Justice and the Department of Science and Technology finalized and published the approved implementing rules and regulations after more than three years after it was signed into a law by the President Benigno Aguino III and after a year and a half the Supreme Court upheld its constitutionality. It took a long shot before this implementing rules and regulations are approved. Surely, it has been thought thoroughly. The second division of the Supreme Court has issued last June 29 a temporary restraining order on the procurement, sale, distribution, dispensation or administration of reproductive products and supplies, including contraceptive drugs and devices specifically of Implanon and Implanon NXT products  to the Department of Health. This TRO was granted due to the petition of the Alliance of the Family Foundation Philippines or ALFI. The ALFI believes that these products have abortifacient  side effects. MANILA, Jan. 16, 2012—The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) National Basic Education Commission gathered representatives of Catholic schools nationwide to discuss the preparation for the implementation this school year of the K+12 program of the Department of Education. Her birthday have passed long ago, about three weeks already but since there was no time then, we decided to hold a simple celebration today somewhere in Metro Manila. She stays in Manila after her defeat as vice-mayor candidate in her hometown.
