Katayuang pangkalusugan ng Obispo Francisco C. San Diego

Noong Oktubre 30, 2012 ay pinagbigay alam ng kinaukulan sa pamamagitan ni Padre Marci Dijan, ang kanselor ng diyosesis ng San Pablo,, na ang kagalang-galang na dating obispo ng Diyosesis at obispo emeritus ng Pasig na si Francisco C. San Diego ay nasa Ospital ng San Pablo City Medical room 206. Sa pamamagitan ni doktor Sanchez, isa sa mga doktor na tumitinginsa kalagayan ng obispo na ang kondisyon ng obispo Francisco ay hindi mabuti noong ika -10 ng Nobyembre. Noong umaga ng nasabing araw ay naisagawa ang gastrocopy at natagpuan ang nagdurogong ulcer. Nagsagawa rin ng flushing ngunit hindi ang cautery at ang iba pang mga intervention dahil hindi pwede o walang kakayahan ang gamit na scope. Nagkaroon pa rin nang pagdurogo pagkatapos. Maaring dalhin sa San Pablo Community hospital para sa gastrocopy ang na kung saan mayroon ang kanilang scope sa nasabing sitwasyon. Cardinal Sanchez dies at 91

MANILA, March 9, 2012 – The fifth Filipino to be elevated to the position of Cardinal has died at the age of 91 years old at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center in San Juan City at 4:50 a.m. today. He would have turned 92 on Saturday, March 17. The retired prelate passed away due to multiple organ failure after being confined to the medical center last week. Cardinal Sanchez’ nephew Manolo Sanchez told CBCPNews the prelate has been in and out of the hospital. “He was brought to University of Santo Tomas last February 11 and went home after two weeks,” he said. He added they brought Cardinal Sanchez to Cardinal Santos Medical Center last week. “He always wanted to go home,” his nephew further said. His remains will be brought to the Dominican Daughters of the Immaculate Mother School's Chapel at 872 St Joseph St., Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City today.
