When I was assigned in Suba, Majayjay, Laguna during the 1990's, Imade some friends, both from the Our Lady of the Pillar parish and of neighboring parishes. Some were just high school students then. But now, they are professionals, others married and have children already. CJ is one of them but it was been a long time since no communication was made from either of us. It was only later during the last Chrism Mass that CJ and her parents attended in San Pablo that she has seen me again. I did not noticed here then because ther are many faithful who attended this yearly celebration. It was through the internet that she was able to see my contact and have emailed me. It was then that communication was reestablished. Today, I came to their house for the celebration of her birthday. here are soe pictures during the said celebration with some of the guest. This is the term I coined with the new blog I created " Prayer Request" in http://prayerintention.blogspot.com . After a prayer ful deliberation on whether to add another blog from the blogs which I already maintaining. It is but pertinent to add this new site specifically for prayer intention. Well there are already sites which cater for the prayer intention all over the world but I have not find one for the local situation in Philippines run by a catholic. So I decided to make one. I thought before that I was able to incorporate it on my other blog on prayer but the links is not appropriate and I was not been able to make a section for that purpose. As well as not to clogged the other blogs I already make for some other intention usually for information dissemination. I have three masses for this day. One was the regular morning mass followed by a nuptial mass. The nuptial mass started late. The bride came late, they were been briefed before that they should come early because they have not yet confessed. Well as usual, the reason was that they have to finished with the make ups. I did not give the homily because it started late and I explained to them later that they should be mindful of the time because it is not only them that I have to attend to. Javier Escano came to visit me and to ask some advice on his life as a father of three. At 5:00 pm, we proceeded to Parian, Calamba, Laguna to say mass for the novena masses of the OCDS in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Since John cannot drive me because of the wounds he suffered, I asked Willy to do it because surely I cannot arrived on time because I do not yet know the place as the way they do. I celebrated Mass in unity of the celebrations of all catholics for World Day of the sick. I celebrated the Mass in the church and in the hospital and annointed those sick with oil a day after its regular schedule. It happens that February eleven of this year is sunday, my schedule could not accomodate it. People are noot used with the anointing of the sick during the said event. I thought that it is a common feeling that since drugs and medical services are expensive they will tend more to ask God for healing. However, it was not the case here.
