GOSPEL REFLECTION 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B) Sunday, 28th June 2015 by Rev. Fr. Allen Baclor Abadines  *  READINGS: First Reading: Wisdom 1:13-15;2;23-24 Responsorial Psalm: "I will extol you, Lord, for you have raised me up. Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 8:7,9:13-15 * GOSPEL: Mark 5:21-43 When Jesus had crossed in the boat to the other side, a great crowd gathered around him; and he was by the sea. Then one of the synagogue leaders named Jairus came and, when he saw Jesus, fell at his feet and begged him repeatedly, "My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live." So Jesus went with him. And a large crowd followed him and pressed in on him. Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years. She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had; and she was no better, but rather grew worse. She had heard about Jesu...

St. Martin de Porres, you always had sympathy for the poor and those who are suffering. We need your help and now ask for it with great confidence in your goodness and power. The favor you received from God encourage us now to ask your intercession. We Ask you must humbly to befriend us and assist us from your place in heaven . When you were here on earth. You spent your life loving God and your neighbor .Now that you live in the presence of God intercede for us and beg the Divine Physician to give us health of soul and body. Amen.
