Visit of the international pilgrim image of the Our Lady of Fatima in the Diocese of San Pablo.

This may sound very late but I was just informed this morning concerning this matter. Hoping that this blog could be of help in disseminating this important matter. I will post also the letter of the bishop on my Facebook account, The International pilgrim image of the Our Lady of Fatima will visit the Diocese this coming October 16-18 of this year. Everybody is invited to grace and offer prayers through vigil and masses. Fr. Pilgrimage

We are the Pilgrim Church, that's what the Second Vatican Council Document Dogmatic Constitution on the Church Lumen Gentium tell us. The Church enjoins us, her members to journey into a more meaningful encounter with the Divine. We are called to deepen our life of discipleship with our Lord Jesus Christ. This constitutes a movement towards a closer realization of our Christian faith in our everyday life.. There are many ways of fulfilling this need. Pilgrimages or visiting holy places is one way. May the Holy places we visited and will visit enliven us in our relationship and our faith with our God and neighbor. May it bring us new perspectives and broaden our understanding of our faith in a new dimension. May our experiences help us to be an effective witnesses of God's love for others  May our pilgrimages, pleasant or unpleasant it may be will help us to understand that our entire life is a pilgrimage. Pilgrims from Nuestra Senora Dela Paz, Binan, Laguna

As the Holy week approaches, many pilgrims came and still coming to the parish for their pilgrimages as part of tradition here in the Philippines in visiting Churches as part of their Lenten Celebration. Fr. Rizaldy Urgena and his parishioners of Nuestra Senora Dela Paz Parish of Binan, Laguna was one of them. I welcome them and give some information about the parish and the patron Saint.
