Below is the concept of the program for the Cancer group of the Parish of Saint Martin de Porres, discussed and prepared by the group. This is a propose group that will try to cater to the cancer patients within the parish. The endeavor started to progress because it is also a part of the apostolate to the sick as the patron saint St. Martin de Porres have tried to address. Well, there is no cancer patients then during his time. However, this is a group that almost of the sectors of the present society have tried to address. Yesterday, I saw a tarpaulin of one Baranggay calling for a breast cancer individuals for a seminar. I forgot the date, So, i ask the help of Sis. Luz Abuzo who acts as the president of the cancer group of the parish to investigate and if I am not mistaken that the seminar was held today to attend it hoping to see how to conduct such seminar and to observe intelligently. One of the program we encountered are the statistics or rather to look for the patien...

I could not believe what I saw, so I retrace my steps and read the tarpaulin that reads "Raise 35 Million Pesos in 4 Months."  Well, it is a parish in the rich parish Alabang. However, it has raise some issues on my head. The parish might really be too rich to raise such amount, 35M divided 4, that is 8.75 million every month and 291,666.66 everyday.I just hope and pray that I could have that charism or any of my Parish Pastoral or Parish Financial Council. For the moment the parish is on the 4th month on raising for the flooring of the Parish Church because it needs rehabilitations, the tiles are already broken. Not all of them but many of them are. our expected amount to be raised  costs only an amount of 700 tiles that is priced as 500 per tiles. That is only 350,000.00 pesos that is just a fraction of a day counterpart of the Alabang parish. So far, we just raised a fourth of the amount so far. Well, anything is on God's hands. We are just doing we can. we ca...

O God, Who has given us In Your humble Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, The model of all virtue And perfection, Grant to us The virtue of humility. We think so little of You Because we are So full of ourselves. We cannot love You more Until humility shows us Our own nothingness And makes us rejoice In our complete Dependence upon You. You have given to the world a glorious apostle of humility: St. Martin de Porres. Guide us by his example And strengthen Us through his intercession In our efforts To conform our hearts To the humble Heart Of Your crucified Son. May the glory of sainthood Which you have Deigned to bestow Upon Brother Martin Draw the world closer And closer to You. Renew, O Lord, in these days When pride and forgetfulness Of You are so widespread, The wonders which You performed Through Your humble servant During his lifetime. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be (3 times each.)
