Act of consecration to the sacred heart of mary

 Dear Reverend Monsignors and Fathers:

 

I would like to invite you to join me in consecrating the Diocese of San Pablo to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on 7 October, 2008, feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.  This is in response to the appeal endorsed by the Catholic Bishops’ conference of the Philippines to do a collegial act of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary of all parishes and dioceses throughout the country.  You may recite the attached prayer used by the Servant of God, Pope John Paul II, and all the bishops to consecrate Russia and the World in March 1984 and again during the Jubilee Year either by:

 

a)      being personally present with me in the San Pablo Cathedral at 6 o’clock in the evening of 7 October;

b)     reciting the said prayer in your parish at 6 o’clock in the evening of 7 October.

 

I believe that this will procure protection and bring about many graces for your parish, our diocese and our nation and the Church.

Feast of Sts. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels

Here is a letter recieved several days before inviting priests to concelebrate with the bishop in consecrating the diocese to the Sacred Heart of Mary. Since the possibility, after due calculation, is present, I decided after exiting the star tollway to go directly to San Pablo Cathedral, San Pablo City.

It seems that the priests of the diocese are also busy for the celebration of the feast of the Holy Rosary. There are some who have mostly from the vicariate of San Pablo. Only two of us came who are not part of the said vicariate.
