Our regular vicariate meeting is scheduled every thursday after the third monday priests' assembly. However, since the birthday of the bishop is fast approaching there are some matters to be discussed as soon as possible. Therefore, we have to hold today the meeting. St. Anthony de Padua Parish of San Antonio, Los Banos, Laguna is the host.

- Directorship of the Diocesan Pastoral Council - Since Rev. Fr. Noel Conopio resigned for the post of the Diocesan Pastoral Council to concentrate for the Pondo Ng Pinoy, a new priest should take his place. From the suggested names given, the vicariate decided to vote for Rev. Fr. Marce Dijan
- Directorship of the Prison Ministry - The death of Rev. Fr. Olan Ardes has leave the post vacant. The vicariate decided then to vote for Rev. Fr. Jessie Somosierra, Jr. for the said post.
- A one thousand pesos from the parish priest for the food contribution for the birthday celebration. The vicariate also decided to render a song for the said celebration. The Parish pastoral council of every parishes, religious men and women along with the faculty of the Liceo Catholic School system will hold the celebration this coming Saturday while the clergy will celebrate the birthday of the bishop this coming monday starting 10:00 in the morning for the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Cathedral.
- The Vicariate will host the seminar for 'Church position on Reproductive Health Bill' deliberated by the house of congress. It will be held this coming Saturday, October 18, 2008 on St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish, Los Banos. It will start at 8:00 in the morning. The first talk will be handled by the Son of Frank Padilla on his advocacy on Family and life issues. Rev. Fr. Gaston will be the speaker on the technical side of the bill and the rebuttal according to Church position. The Celebration of the eucharist will be presided by Msgr. Alex Amante with the priests of the vicariate. At 2:00 in the afternoon, former senator Kit Tatad will give the talk and to be followed by workshop. This is a diocesan event hosted by the vicariate in coordination with ministry on Family and life.
