Part of the operation of the Commission on Catechesis of the Diocese of San Pablo is the monthly meeting of the Staff comprises of priests, religious and lay coordinators. The Catechetical Commission is headed by Rev. Fr. Tootsie Ubarco. One of the agenda for this month after the annual assessment and evaluation in pangasinan of which I was not been able to attend because it was also the schedule of the pastoral visit of Bishop Buenaventura Famadico in the Vicariate of the Holy Family of which I belong, is the launching of the spiritual bouquet for the diocesan catechetical day both for the school bay lay volunters and student catechists of the diocese.
The Diocesan Catechetical day will be on September 17, 2015 to be held in Alonte Sports Center in Binan City, Philippines in the province of Laguna.Unfortunately, I will not also be able to attend on the said event as I will represent the Catechetical Commision of the Diocese in Baguio on the same week for the Annual Meeting of the Catechetical ministers.
We are encouraging all catechists and all those who are helping the catechetical endeavour to help us raise the amount needed for the successful celebration of the said event so that we can encourage more people to join us in proclaiming Jesus as our Lord and Saviour..
Let us pray for the success of this Diocesan Catechetical Day 2015.
