As we prepare for the 51st International Eucharistic Congress to be held in Cebu, Philippines this coming January in the year of the Lord 2016. the Diocese of San Pablo is scheduled to received the Symbol of the said Congress this July 14 and will stay in the Diocese until the morning of July 17.
Let us pray for the success of the congress and prepare ourselves to go deeper to our faith in following the Lord Jesus Christ who for the love of us constantly offers himself humbly in the form of the bread and/or wine in the Blessed Sacrament.
Those who will fetch the symbol will wait in the front of the fort of Santo Domingo in Santa Rosa Laguna along the boundary of the dioceses of Imus and San Pablo at 9:30 to 10 o'clock in the morning of July 14. Then the convoy will travel to Calamba via SLEX and will be welcome by the clergy and lay of theEcclesiastical District 2 at RSM Calamba in real highway in front of Yokohama. Then the convoy will proceed to the St. John the Baptist Parish, Calamba City. Vigil will follow at the arrival of the symbol until 5:00 in the afternoon. At 5:30 in the afternoon a concelebrated Mass will follow. There will be a break for dinner. For priest, the parish through the goodness of Msgr. Jose Barrion will offer a simple meal. Others will bring their own food. At 8:00 in the evening a talk will be rendered concerning the devotion to the holy Eucharist until 10:00 in the evening for reposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Rest. At 5:00 in the morning, the image will depart for Pagsanjan.
