This is a response I have commented to the blog post on warmstone on "Not easy for a rape victim but..."
All of us like a peaceful life. However, peaceful living cannot stand to a life full of doubts, pretenses and lies.Sometimes we retreat to the refuge of compromise hoping to see a peaceful life. We should be reminded that a real happy life can best be achieved through truthful living. A life that cannot be a slave of regrets because at the end the truth will set us free. No one surely knows what the truth concerning this rape incident, except the people involved, Nicole, Daniel Smith, Daniel Smith buddies and God. I just hope that they could live with what really happened and be able to do justice if ever injustice was committed. People who could not accept the consequences of their action will be hunted with the experience at the rest of their earthly life.
