It is a stark reminder of the call we each have to live out our faith authentically, embodying the love and compassion of Christ in our daily lives. **The Call to Humility** In the passage, we see Jesus addressing the attitudes of the Pharisees and others who may be high in social standing but low in humility. He emphasizes that greatness in the Kingdom of God is not measured by earthly standards of power and prestige. Instead, it is measured by love, service, and humility. Jesus invites us to remember that, in God's eyes, the greatest among us is the one who serves the least. As we reflect on this call to humility, let's make it personal. How often do we seek recognition or validation in our various roles—be it in our workplaces, our homes, or our ministries? **Homiliya para sa Huwebes, Agosto 27, 2026** Mga minamahal kong kapatid kay Kristo, Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat. Sa ating pagninilay sa ebanghelyo sa araw na ito, ating mapapansin ang napakahalagang mensahe na nais iparating sa atin ng ating Panginoong Jesucristo. Ang ating buhay bilang mga Kristiyano ay hindi lamang isang serye ng mga ritwal o tradisyon, kundi ito ay isang tawag na makipag-isa sa Kanya, at higit sa lahat, ito ay isang tungkulin na ipakita ang pagmamahal sa ating kapwa. Sa ebanghelyo, tila itinataas ni Hesus ang isang mahalagang katanungan: "Ano ang higit na mahalaga — ang mga batas o ang mga tao?"
